Kurdistan is undergoing a major revolution in honey production. Beekeepers are no longer satisfied with producing 'ordinary honey'; instead, they are striving to elevate their products to a global standard.

Capitalizing on Kurdistan’s Rich Nature: Kurdistan is home to more than 3,000 species of plants and wildflowers, many of which grow exclusively in the Zagros Mountains. Beekeepers migrate their hives to high-altitude mountainous regions (above 2,000 meters) to ensure they remain isolated from industrial pollutants and agricultural pesticides."
